In accordance with the findings of Santos –Lewis and Motilal , the Leisure is important component of individuals lifestyle (Oswal, 2013). Individual leisure behaviour can be understood in a better manner when examining the same with its negative factor like constrain. The conceptual similarities between the constraint and leisure can be more precisely understood by the fact that “leisure embraces the presence of constraint which restrain participant from attending their goals”. The core quality associated with the leisure is perseverance and personal needs. The researchers has concluded that the leisure participant negotiate constraint in sequential manner as the steps will be as followed in accordance with the constrain-mitigation model-

The centre of the chain is provided to the negotiation part as it is an important mediator between the constraint and motivation. The two exogenous variables are deliberately balanced with the help of negotiation. It also tune the negative relationship between constrain and participation for a positive outcome. Lastly it intensifies the positive relationship between motivation and participation.
Example in salsa event, the event attendance depends upon the specialization level of the participant. Majority of them start attending the event at improved level which indicates the skill level attained by the participant. In accordance with the specialization literature, Individuals progress through specialization level and leisure activity become more central to personal life.
