Companies need to understand the cultural profile of India before venturing business projects. However, there are certain norms that are crucial and unanimous in nature. One such norm is that Indians value relationships over business, hence, multinational companies need to put in extra efforts to keep the relationship intact. Caste system is one more integral thing that people are sensitive about. MNCs need to be careful and avoid any chances of hurting anybody’s religious sentiments.
