According to the psychology by Gestalt, the whole is not exactly the actual sum of its parts. On the basis of the same, Gesalt psychologist developed different principles for the purpose of explanation of the perceptual organization. The aim was to explained that how different smaller objects may be grouped in order to form the larger one.
Law of Continuity: According to the law of continuity, the points which may be connected with the help of straight or curving lines may be observed to follow a smooth path. They aren’t observed as separate lines. The angles may be observed to be belonging together.
Law of Closure: This law states that there are various things which may be grouped in case it is observed that they may seem to complete some entity. An example of the same is our brains which generally ignore that information which is contradictory. Closure is something that may be as a result of the effect due to the visual connection which is between different elements that may not be touching one another. This principle may be applicable whenever someone needs to observe some of the complete figures whenever specific information may be missing.
The closure may happen whenever the elements that are in different composition may be aligned in such a manner that it is viewed by the observer as the information which cannot be connected. The closure may occur when the elements are required to be aligned in such a manner that the viewer may perceive which the information may not be connected. Thus, it can be concluded that the different principles related to the perceptual organization may be completely application in the real world entity.
