In emerging economies, the external sources of financing SMEs comprise bank loans and supplementary types of what is called institutional credit. On the other hand, SMEs demand in these economies for non-financial services in the forms of training or consultancy could be low down for the reason that they fail to recognize that these services might move up their output and development. More clearly, due to lack of information or the risk that such advantages will not crop up, SMEs are deprived of such non-financial aids. Consequently SMEs have a propensity to make use of smaller number external sources of guidance than larger firms (Cassar, 2004). For Beck and de la Torre (2006), this is a hint that financing SMEs making use of external sources is yet a distant dream in developing or emerging economies. The most persistent restraint for financing SMEs through external sources in these economies is the shortage of finance at levelheaded provisions.
