Action taken to resolve problems
In order to resolve problems that BFG has been facing, management has established high-level HR Committee. Roles and responsibilities of high-level HR Committee is to investigate into human resource management issues that BFG has been facing and make report of identified issues for top level management. In order to prepare issue or problem report, high-level HR Committee will be using available data that is mentioned in data dictionary (Kramar, 2014).
HR Measurement Framework
BFG has to manage its human resource and its productivity so that they can overcome issues that they are facing. HR measurement framework is the process which is used to map human resource of organisation into its business objectives. HR measurement framework is used by human resource manager or department to analyse the key issues and then ways of resolving them. In present case of BFG, management is facing issue of engaging human resource into its strategic goal achieving path. Management is required to develop culture of togetherness and engagement among each so that every employee can overcome from their issues (Collins, 2013). Following are set of practices that are to implemented or used in terms of engagement and culture:
Employee Engagement- Employee engagement is a most important aspect of HR measurement framework that leads to achievement of organisational objectives. Engaged and committed employees towards organisation provide competitive advantage among other organisation. Employee engagement and culture is intangible concept that requires invisible support from employees. BFG needs to implement employee engagement policy so that regain trust and focus of its employees (Guest, 2014). Since consolidation, many employees do not find growth in BFG and had lost their hope. Therefore HR department of BFG has to make and implement these practices by providing flexible working hours, including employees in decision making process, strategically linking HR into organisational goal, etc.
Wellness and Satisfaction- Most important aspect of employee engagement and culture is wellness and satisfaction level of employees. Employees shall feel satisfied with their roles and responsibilities in BFG. There is set of practices or procedures that are required to be implement, in order to achieve higher satisfaction rate among employees and this can be achieved with higher pay scale (Paterson, 2013).
