Using only black backgrounds and white chalks or oil pastels, Phillippe Baudeloque, a Persian artist, creates complex designs giving geometric shapes and patterns to create various animals. His unique painting made from simplest elements and cells influences people and their thoughts. This art is again a minimalist technique where cleaning of minimal surface has been done before drawing. In the third painting, minimal colours and textures have been used by the American born artist from Israel, Know Hope. In his painting, he uses wood, bricks, photographs and texts to enhance the affectivity of his work, which gives strong message of humanity running out of time or human struggle for a better world. The fourth picture is by Cleon Peterson who shows the world as a corrupt, mean, violent and suffering. He depicts a world where law breakers and makers are same and ill practices continue to occur in the society in a black and white background painting.
John Andrew the most colourful artist in this list, with his work which is placed fifth presents a theme based painting to depict the allegory of urban forests that echoe with lights of large cities and their goals. Using precise strokes and bright colours with awesome and unique calligraphy, he paints dynamic pictures. The last painting is by Blu in abandoned space on wall sides where other graffiti painting are present and thus make epic mural painting.
The main objective or motive behind this exhibition is to make people aware about their consumer habits which have grown rapidly without even realizing that they consume articles or things unnecessarily i.e. without any use or requirement. The other reason is to promote minimalism, so that they could able to think before they opt to buy anything.
The painting will be exhibited the parking lot walls outside a mall. It shall be mounted at a height of 5-6 feet so that customer’s eye is attracted towards the paintings. It would be enlightened with solar power lights fixed at the top of the painting so that it is visible even in dark. It will be a free access to people i.e. the passer-by will have to pay nothing to view it and it influences their purchasing decisions.
