It can also require a significant commitment of time and resources from the organization. However, a proactive approach should help to provide improved performance (sustainability and otherwise) and enhanced public relations. “Stakeholder engagement” can provide substantial benefits through the review of positive and negative public opinion. It may used to evaluate an organization’s (proposed) activities and its (proposed) products/services. The goal of stakeholder engagement will vary for each organization but it may be any one, or several. So we can say that the opinion for stakeholders will depend upon their stakes and the responsibilities they have in the organization.
