The key recommendations for process improvement that can be made for both the supplier and Wal-Mart in order that Wal-Mart is able to reorganize its inventory processes for better management are as follows: In terms of methods and policies, inventory management must be improved so as to have better design coordination between the supplier style of usage of RFID management softwares and Wal-Mart. This will ensure that there would be a better coordinated working. Also in this context Wal-Mart would be able to save better as there is lesser need for integration software. While it might mean loss in the long run, Wal-Mart can also have a strict supplier policy that it will only work with suppliers that are willing to implement the full range of RFID products.
