By analyzing the brief overview of personal branding development, and its importance, I analyzed that there are multiple strategies that can help in developing personal brand of a person. According to the book, “Reinventing you, a step by step guide to defining your brand and imagining your future”, the author, “Dorie Clark”, has tried to explain the various attention building strategies that individuals in their organizations should follow (Dorie 2010). Personal network development additionally, cannot take place without being based over reciprocity principles where exchange of goods, services or favor is involved for a mutual advantage gained by both the parties exchanging goods under confidential agreements. Building equity of personal brand seems similar in idealizing steps in establishing personal branding and can only be done if an individual is able to find his or hers niche target market (Dorie 2010). However, an important role is also played by networking when building personal branding especially when working as a script editor. Personal networks of a person are inclusive of individuals in one’s own organization working with him or her, individuals that meet a person from similar organizations and those individuals who are consistently in touch with a person either through phone or through the use of internet. Networking is important for people because it helps people bind in a mutually advantageous relationship where exchange of knowledge and resources both are taking place in a simultaneous manner. As a script developer, one has to highly networked at the personal level and grasps all opportunities that are available for expansion of this network, otherwise a person seems to gain less while putting in more efforts.
