综上所述，本文同意并支持essay thesis statement，即同性婚姻需要合法化并得到完全支持(Woodford, 2012,73)。这篇议论文提出了各种各样的概念和论点，通过允许个人对自己的性取向有自由的意愿来反驳同性婚姻的辩论(Sharpe, 2013, pp 301)。同性婚姻一直被视为一个社会问题，并帮助政客们坚持对他们的辩论，以便从这个社会问题中受益作为一个政治议程(夏普，2013年第301页)。本文主要探讨社会上不同群体对同性婚姻的看法，如支持同性婚姻的社工群体。从不同的认知和视角来看，只有当我们作为社会成员把同性婚姻看作一个问题时，社会对同性婚姻的态度才是一个问题。

And there are some strong arguments can also support my opinion. The civil rights and constitution provide various liberties. Pursuit of happiness is one of the civil liberties which is not allowed to be chased by homosexuals (Campion et al, 2015 pp 1852-1853). They are not allowed to marry the person they are in love with and this causes a violation to their free will (Sharpe, 2013, 70). Opposition may argue on legalization of same sex marriage but the question raised through this essay is that, when pursuit of happiness is a civil liberty then why is happiness not regarded equally for all the people involved when actually happiness is everyone’s right (Woodford, 2012, pp 71). If a man and woman are married then no much care is given to it but if the scenario is changed a bit wherein a man marries a man or a woman marries another woman, then it leads towards society based uproar (Sharpe, 2013, 59-73). In marriages, the perspective that holds significance is bond between two people uniting or the love between them. Other things are essential too but sexual preference is not one of them (Woodford, 2012, pp 71). Also, opposition states a child requires a mother and a father for its mental and psychological growth but various researches such as by Dr. Peggy Drexler in his book, “Our Father, Ourselves, Daughters and Changing American Family”, has claimed that from children raised in households with same sex marriages are highly open minded and empathetic in compared to other children (Woodford, 2012, pp 60). The research in the book further depicted that it is the relationship quality present within a family which matters and this causes either negative or positive influence on child’s growth irrespective of the sexual preference of the parents (Campion et al, 2015 pp 1852-1853). If social workers have accepted the thought process that same sex marriages are possible and need legalization then religious oppositionist’s or other opposing views should not consider same sex marriage a concept of debate or uproar (Campion et al, 2015 pp 1852-1853). Debate on same sex marriages only makes the topic highly relevant to politicians who use the topic to benefit and gain power position (Sharpe, 2013, p 301). Rather, the subject of same sex should not be politically or economically viewed instead, it should be viewed as a societal justice and free will perspective that one chooses for their individual benefit (Sharpe, 2013, 72).
In conclusion, this essay is in agreement and support to the essay thesis statement that same sex marriage needs to be legalized and completely supported (Woodford, 2012, 73). The argumentative essay has brought forward various concepts and arguments serving to refute the debate of same sex marriage by allowing individuals to have a free will regarding their sexual preferences (Sharpe, 2013, pp 301). Same sex marriage has been regarded as an issue in the society and has helped politicians to uphold a debate on them in order to benefit from this social issue as a political agenda (Sharpe, 2013 pp 301). This essay has focused on discussing the perception of different groups in the society such as social workers group who have offered their support to same sex marriage. From the various perceptions and perspectives, the social attitudes concerning same sex marriage is only an issue when we as society members consider it as an issue.
