  Corporate business culture of Pakistan should be understood when a company chooses to expand operations in the country. In Pakistan, the best way of conducting amicable business operations is to ensure that the outsourcing companies have basic underlying trust of the foreign investor (Khib’i, 2004). It is considered best practice to have a known participant to introduce the new investor. Country still operates on family run businesses. Hence there is a need for the foreign representatives to take time in building trust. It is considered to be paternalistic society. Even though the country has an open free trade policy there, these factors prove to be hindering the progress of the country. The country has made immense progress in the department of technology. There is more emphasis given in corporations to develop strong technical skills. The country has improved considerably in the country risk index (Khib’i, 2004). There is growing consumerism in the country and there is adequate infrastructure to ensure the smooth flow of operations. There are a number of growth factors that have been facilitated by the government to invest in Pakistan. Exit operation for the foreign investor is relatively easier in this economy (Khib’i, 2004). Lot of potential talents and technically skilled human resources are available in Pakistan. Even though these skills are not utilized by the company, employees work diligently for the company. This has benefitted the Pakistan operated companies to meet company objectives. Employee objectives on the other hand have not been center of focus. Culturally, the companies in Pakistan are considered to be more authoritarian in approach. Employees also oblige to the terms dictated by the company due to high unemployment rates. There is emphasis given to the tangible remuneration by the business corporations and the employees. Contemporary companies and employment demography wants a change in the current practice. This is considered to be a positive direction.
