At times when new profit planning meetings take place in the organization, it creates the situation of chaos in the organization due to conflicts between the leaders of each team at each level in the decentralized organization. For small organizations, it is difficult to build autonomous administrative sections at each level in the organization. These administrative sections are of great need in the decentralized organization as the decision making authority is dispersed at each level and therefore strict control and monitoring is needed at each level (Tsoukas, 2005). One of the major setbacks which the leaders at the top management have to face is that they have less control over their subordinates as they have divided their authorities to them. Even it is difficult for a top leader to impose accountability for any irresponsible act as it is difficult to fix the responsibilities for the act due to large number of managers. The risk of mismanagement by the old mangers is there at every point of time as earlier they had to follow orders given to them by senior managers but now they are the leaders for leading a team and to trust them at once is quite difficult for the top management.
