Internet is something that is viewed around the world round the clock. There is not a moment when the internet stops working owing to the different time zones across the world. Everyone is using the internet. Whether it is the computer or the mobile phone, everyone uses the interest on such a regular basis that social media marketing makes more sense in today’s world than it could have ever made (Dahl, n.d.). When one sees that the common male consumer uses so much of the internet, one can be assured that the exposure of the consumers are more as the websites are viewed more frequently by the potential male consumers, than any other source of marketing. This also helps in the evaluation of the effectiveness of social media marketing.
Social media marketing usually makes a bigger and wider impact on people than any other method of marketing in today’s world. When brand recognition takes place via social media marketing, it reaches out to the potential male consumer in a better way. Usually, brand recognition is also accompanied by recognition among similar communities or the similar kinds of buyers. When they identify something that is being marketed as a product or a service that this community would need, the information is passed to another. The media amongst the similar buyers or communities on the internet which helps in evaluation of the effectiveness of this kind of marketing similarly the way it has been mentioned above (Washington and Miller, n.d.).

There are different kinds of methodologies involved when one has to divert the focus back on the topic which is being discussed, namely, ‘To evaluate the effectiveness of social media marketing to attract male consumers for buying’. In simple words, what has to be presented is how exactly one can find out how the social media marketing is attracting the male consumers, and how effectively it is to do it. When taken a glance across the globe, it has been noticed in today’s world too that females are the weaker section of the consumers and that patriarchy actually rules certain important and dominant parts (Tungate, 2008). This simply means that a wider male section across the world has access to the internet in comparison to the female section. This is not speaking about a few developed countries but the world at large. That makes it easier on deciding the methodologies which would be required when addressing the main point of discussion and some of the important methods are:
It can be easily found out which websites and applications are used by the male section of the consumers in order to use the social media marketing techniques in collaboration with those websites. This can easily target the male consumers and also find out how effective social media marketing is (Evans, 2008).
Another thing is used when finding out what is required by connecting to the audience and the consumers. In simple survey, the connection has to be made with the consumer in order to find out what they think about this kind of marketing and how useful this can be.
Social media draws a major section of the society but certain specific sites like Facebook is something that has maximum number of users around the globe. Not only can it be used as one of the methods of social media marketing but can also be used as a method to find out how effective it is (Dines and Humez, 2011).
