Religious influence on the architecture was also reduced. Following the Renaissance, there was an emergence of fresh knowledge and technology. This marked the difference between engineering and architecture. During this time the architects were more concerned about the aesthetics of the structure than the technical issue. The later was left to the engineers to decide. With the industrial age the concept of mass production emerged. Aesthetics was now within the reach of the common man that was once beyond their reach.
