On the basis of the analysis the different characteristics of the wastewater designs will be done. One of the most useful applications which can be used for the purpose of creation of the wetlands includes the treatment of the primary or secondary domestic waste. The different constructed wetlands systems can be modeled after the use of the same for the treatment of the high organic loads related to the dairy farming. The process of treatment used for the wetland can involve lower costs in general. On the basis of the study of the characteristics of the dairy wastewater, it was found that the outflow from the cell 4 was between four to 5 m3/d. This was the value which was obtained after the study of the wastewater characteristics for different dates round the year for around 3 years. Also the air temperature was found to be variable for most of the days. The minimum air temperature was around -3.1 while the maximum was around 27.2 degree Celsius. The temperature of water was found to vary between 2.7 degree centigrade and around 20 degree centigrade.
The level of Biological Oxygen demand in the water was found to be between 39 and 2211. The removal rate of the same was found to be around 50 %. The total number of solids in the water was found to be between 276 mg/L to 5744 mg/L. On the other hand, the total suspended solids were found to be between 75 to 1705 mg/L. The total amount of phosphorus in the water was found to be between 3 and 115 mg/L. while the amount of ortho phosphate had been found to be between 1.2 and 11 mg/L. In addition to this, the Total Kjedahl Nitrogen was found to vary between 16 and 417. Similarly, the range for NH4 has been found to vary from 7 to 301. The value of Fecal Coliform Count was found to be between 5803250 and 43000. The value of O2 was found to be between 0.6 and 7.04 (Stone et al., 2004). The pH value was found to between 7.04 and 8.1. The value of EC was found to be between 800 and 4500 while the same for COD was found to be between 502 and 4370. Thus, it can be observed that there is a requirement of the proper plant for the waste water treatment.
