Expectations of some people prior to the events and response or questions after the event lead to change in the memory of the person in wrong way. This kind of experience sometimes develops the wrong taxonomy of memory and leads to the memory mistake or memory errors or memory gaps. These experiences occur when some kind of ordinary events happened in past life with having some kind of expectations that have life changing moments with these expected events. These kind of consequential moments are within the realm of normal life such as lottery, birth of a sibling, moving to new house, death of aging grandparent, and visiting one’s mother to hospital, etc. These kind of events are quite consequential like it happened while playing with cousins, fishing with uncle, family vacation, shopping with friend, playing with siblings, etc.
Jim found in memory that his parents won lottery. He remembered that he was sitting in his house and playing the board games with his siblings when they heard the news. Jim found that he was completely wrong about his memory today. This indicates the memory of Jim as some other experience. These are symptoms of memory gaps and errors which lead to incorrect recall or complete loss. These kinds of memory errors may include remembering events that never occurred or sometimes remembering these events in a different way than it has actually occurred. These kinds of memory errors or gaps occurred due to various reasons such as expectations or environmental changes, and including the emotional involvement in the situation. Another biggest reason for these things is the lengthening of such events, as this leads to forget the actual amount and replicate in wrong way of the memories.
