Questionnaire is defined as the technique of collection of data in which every individual is asked to reply to the similar type of questions which are determined in a specific order. This kind of method to collect data is used only when the one needs to collect the responses from a large group before the quantitative analysis. Questionnaires could be classified under two major categories namely self administered and interviewer administered questionnaire. Self administered questionnaire could again be divided into three kinds which are postal questionnaire, internet & intranet mediated questionnaires and delivery & collection questionnaire. On the other hand, the interviewer administered questionnaire could be either structured interview or telephone questionnaires. In this case, there exist some related factors which are the characteristics of the respondents and access. One must ensure that the answers are not distorted or contaminated. The number and kind of questions required and the sample size required for the analysis. As per the type of the questionnaire the administration needs must be decided. The questions must be defined precisely which provides an understanding of the organizational context. The sampling must be accurate and representative.
