People grow their own food in their backyard, but animal slaughter remains consistent due to rising population and demand. Since natural farming is unable to meet its own demand, new meat from new animals and edible insects are killed for eating. In a scenario where high scientific development continues, the impact on nature is high. Natural disasters like cyclones, earthquakes, tornados, tsunami, floods and melting of arctic ice are rampant. Although alternative technology has reduced the impact on environment, new foods are introduced which does not produce repeated hunger in humans. Vegetarians are constantly opposing the inhumane ways of handling and killing animals for meat production, when scarcity is increasing. In the last scenario, even though there is low scientific development, the impact on nature is high. Natural disasters are most common, and have wiped out half of human population, because nature is never lenient. Due to lack of resources, high inflation has caused food prices to become unaffordable (Osti, 2016), but retail chains, like Woolworths and Coles, through their Nano-engineered food produce are raking in profits. However, the conditions have worsened. World war three over resources is almost constant, and many humans are dying of starvation (Brown, 2012). In addition, water and other resources have become scarce, and developing countries are almost wiped out of earth, though unhygienic food consumption has delivered a new life threatening virus.
Food production issues are life related because their scarcity can create conditions not suitable for living for the majority of humans. In scenarios where science is advanced, food production remains dependent on it, and thus new forms of food types are introduced. Growing food faster with LED lights can help send food to Mars. Where science is less developed, the demand for natural food is higher. Individual farming is high but it has not stopped animal slaughter for non-vegetarians. When science is advanced, the impact on nature has been very high. Natural disaster is common, and animal slaughter has become inhumane. Technology has helped, but new food production which requires humans to eat once in a while has been developed, which can create disaster for survival. Lastly, nature is wild and its impact is high when there is low science development, because human needs have outgrown the resources. Humanity is starving to death, and a resource war globally has begun, which will sink all possible hopes of continuous survival.
