The hedonistic behavioural patterns of the people in the communities are targeted for this purpose. Many companies do not follow the ethical mandates and primarily market deceptive ads about their food or beverage product. This leads to a promotion of unhealthy behaviour. The people are ideologically changed to become a part of this culture that does not help in promotion of strong healthy habits.

It was found from the survey that the low income group people were obese or overweight by a larger margin than the higher income group. There was increase in the issues of diabetes, hypertension and obesity. The people assumed that the healthier food options were unaffordable.
