PRC was established on 1st Oct, 1949, at this time Mao Zedong was declared as chief presiding officer of Central People’s Government Council. Then when Cultural Revolution took place Deng Xiaoping over took all the duties form Mao and became an important leader of PRC for next 20years. They worked towards the common goal of modernizing China but there are many differences in their ways of ruling and leadership.
When Deng over took the responsibilities, he brought in the policies of reforms and honesty. He said China will change from class of strugglers and working-class to economic development and socialist movement. He introduced a Responsibility System to rustic regions and this was entirely unlike from collectivization. Under this reform peasants were given lands and were given full responsibility of their land. Even the owners of land are free now to sell their products in the open market. In this way Deng released China to the external world (Goldman, 2012).
