The human resource management team of any organization is a deciding factor about the quality of the service that the organization will provide to its customers. It is quite obvious that if the employees are not happy with what they are doing, their performance will be affected and so will the quality of the services that the organization is offering. It is among the tasks of the human resource department to identify the barriers of excellence among the employees and remove such barriers so as to achieve the overall objective of the organization. Such barriers sometimes are related to the lack of motivation. In such cases it is the task of the human resource personnel to motivate the employees in a correct manner so that they agree and work with all their capability and efforts. There can be different ways of motivation and it can be positive or negative in approach. In the same manner the effects of such motivation can also be both positive and negative. A professional and knowledgeable human resource manager should be capable of recognizing the opportunity and correct approach of motivating the employees at large in a manner that the outcome is at large.
